CENTRAL AROOSTOOK KENNEL CLUB, INC. CONSTITUTION ARTICLE I NAME AND OBJECTIVES SECTION 1. The name of the Club shall be Central Aroostook Kennel Club, hereafter known as the Club. SECTION 2. The objectives of the Club shall be: (a) To promote, encourage, and create interest in exhibiting pure-bred dogs and breeding to the standards approved by the American Kennel Club, Inc. (b) To accept and operate under the rules and regulations of the American Kennel Club, Inc., for all functions of the Club. Said functions include conducting sanctioned matches, obedience trials, field trials, licensed shows, and any other event administrated by the American Kennel Club, Inc. (c) To foster the ideals of sportsmanship. (d) To improve the person/dog relationship to the benefit of both. SECTION 3. The Club shall not be conducted or operated for profit; and, no profit or remainder or residue from dues or donations to the Club shall insure to the benefit of any member or individual. ARTICLE II GOVERNING RULES SECTION 1. The Club will be governed by Robert’s Rules of Order, except where rule is specified by the Constitution and By-Laws. SECTION 2. The Constitution and By-Laws cannot be waived under any circumstances, except by amendment, as per Article VII of the By-Laws.
